StephanieSB
Hi -- further to my fox worries, I have decided to go ahead and get some of this stuff. Not expensive and each application lasts for a moth (so long as there is no pouring down rain). Scoot Anyone used it? Has it helped at all? Not expecting it to have to do the job on its own, but hoping it'll be a second line of defense after my Foxwatch.
Egluntyne
Yes...I've used it. It has a strong, rather pleasant Citronella smell, but leaves green gel like blobs about the place, so you have to be fairly careful about putting it where the hens can't get them. It does wash away with the rain.

That will be fine for where we hope to spray it -- near the trash bin depot out front of house, underneath the hedges that border the property -- just as a perimeter deterrent, so they don't readily want to even get onto our lawn and near the cube. But the Foxwatch is near the cube, if it washes away before reapplication. As it smells of cintronella -- maybe it will help with the flies as well!
