Should my girls have stopped laying?

Recommended Posts

I have a quick look to see if anyone else has posted this questions recently.

I have had my three girls since last August and was getting one egg a day form each then about 2 months ago it became one a day in total and now we have had no eggs for about 3-4 weeks.

Is this normal? They are beginning to molt a little - so wonder if its the time of year?

Could they have stopped altogether? I have had them since they were about 14 weeks old, so only a year old.

Can anyone give me some advice.

Thanks

Evidence on beaks, bits of yolk in the nesting box, bits of shell....which you haven't seen.

Hove you wormed them recently, and checked them for lice and mites, any of which could impact on their egg laying?

Try omitting treats and just give her pellets for a few days. It might make a difference. :D
