michele
One of my hens has not laid an egg since last October. She is about 17 months old now and is a Calder Ranger hybrid. I got her last July at point of lay and she started laying regularly with no problems. She had a moult last October and stopped laying, which I did not worry about, but has not laid an egg since. She looks lovely and healthy with no sign of worms or red mites. The other hen who is the same age is laying regularly so I don't think it can be diet. Have tried removing treats and sticking to layers mash but it has not made a difference.
BooBoo
I was about to post a similar question....but my hybrid ranger hasn't laid for a month (but she is only 6 months old). The other hen is also fine. I have wormed them, fed them 100% pellets, dusted them and their cage for red ants, given them chicken spice, checked she isn't broody and given them ground up eggs shells to eat. Is there anything else I can do???
