shelless eggs?

It's not unusual for them to lay soft-shelled eggs.

 

Their egg laying equipment takes a while to get up to speed.

 

They do need a lot of calcium to produce eggs. Limestone flour added to their feed will help give them the calcium levels they need.

 

You can buy it from any equestrian feed store or on-line, e.g. *here*
