lisa33
I had a major panic last night! I was up on the computor as Andyman was in the Garage in the garden and the Jasdog was out in the garden with the chickens. I cam down to lock the run up as it was the girls bedtime and Pepper was just going to bed. As she is always last to bed I shut the Eglu door. Luckily I always count the girls before bedtime. Andyman was locking up the garage. I opened the hatch and there was only three chickens!! Rae was not there!! Then ensued 10 minutes of me running round the garden and round the house (they do sometimes sneak in there if any doors are left open. ) frantically looking for Rae. I knew nothing had taken her as Jasdog was with them but I had visions of her having escaped a la 'Chicken Run'. Eventually Andyman went "Oh she might be in the garage". So we opened it up and after another 5 minutes searching found her asleep under the barbeque!! She was so indignant when we made her get up to go to bed!! I don't think I have ever been so relieved in my life!!!

Gamebird
Under the barbeque Not a sensible place for a chicken to fall asleep. So glad you found her.
chelsea
what a scary moment, and a relief you found her. Its great you found her before bed as you wouldnt have slept. She's a sensible chook though - hiding out in the garage.
