mrs chook Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 I have just got off the phone with a local breeder and am collecting two marans later this afternoon I couldn't belive it when he said he had them, I travelled 50miles to get my gingernuts and thought i'd need to go there again for marans, but they're only a little way away. Now to very quickly get creative and sort their 'temporary accommodation' until I dare go for full intro I may buy a further eglu extension and then freerange them for maximum time rather than build a permanent run as I love watching them freerange and dustbath under the treehouse etc. Plus my dog is ok with the other two. Just wish this rain would stop pouring long enough for me to go up shed and get their newbie house sorted!!! i have ordered an extra extension too now, so they'll have a huge long run and also max. freeranging.
