I have just got off the phone with a local breeder and am collecting two marans later this afternoon

 

I couldn't belive it when he said he had them, I travelled 50miles to get my gingernuts and thought i'd need to go there again for marans, but they're only a little way away.

 

Now to very quickly get creative and sort their 'temporary accommodation' until I dare go for full intro

 

I may buy a further eglu extension and then freerange them for maximum time rather than build a permanent run as I love watching them freerange and dustbath under the treehouse etc. Plus my dog is ok with the other two.

 

Sorry I can't help gabbling on, I'm DANGEROUSLY excited

Just wish this rain would stop pouring long enough for me to go up shed and get their newbie house sorted!!!

 

i have ordered an extra extension too now, so they'll have a huge long run and also max. freeranging.
