foreveryoung Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 what is with this hen, she is always broody admittedly she hasnt been for about a year now but a year age she was broody on and off (regurally on) for at least 6 months. ive put a wet sponge in, ive duncked her in water, the only thing i havent tried is the "broody box" but i dont have one nor am sure about them. any surrgestions as i have five other girls who use the nesting box too. Have you tried putting a frozen blue ice block in the nesting box,? I found this worked well, but I did have to change it every 4 hours or so for a couple of days.
