How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

My eglu and chickens arrived yesterday. They have pretty much sorted out the pecking order between the three of them already. I noticed today that Honeysuckle, who is top of the pecking order, is pecking very specifically at the beaks of the other two. Is this a remnant of infantile behaviour? Do chicks peck at the Mother Hen's beak to be fed at all?

Do chicks peck at the Mother Hen's beak to be fed at all?

I know that puppies do that to the 'mother dog' (I had to write that because the correct technical term was censored! - think about it!) but I have no idea if that is the same for chickens.

Mine do that when they are preening each other, maybe they are just picking off the crumbs so they all look their best

Mine were doing that last night - just fed them some mashed potato and one of them was pecking the mash off the beaks of the others
