LisaP
My youngest son is doing a presentation at school on Tuesday and he's decided to do it on our chickens He's so keen he went straight to his room and has spent the last few evenings doing a powerpoint presentation entitled "My Chicken Peony - the art of keeping chickens" He's only 9 and normally only does homework under serious threat Actually I'm chuffed to bits Just shows the power chickens have Anyway, the thing I'm concerned about is that he wants me to take Peony into school (this has been cleared with his teacher) but I don't know whether to take her and if I do, will she be ok on her own or should I take her best mate Pansy too to keep her company I will take her in a box with airholes and only myself and son will handle her. Anyone else got experience of doing this Lisa P
Stevie
If i was you-i'd take both along.Seeing so many strange faces could intimidate a solitary chook, but two would atleast keep the other company and make them both feel at ease.
Egluntyne
I took two of my girls into a local school last year. It went very well.
