4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hubby went to the nest in the cube and found a wierd looking pale pinky thing. God knows what it is, but it's come out of one of my girls bottoms. It's squidgy & reminds me of a hearing aid - like the pinky plastic bit that goes in the ear!

I must take a photo, but what on earth is it. The hens are all as normal & very perky, so I presume its a small distorted, unfinished egg?

It is known as a lash. Sometimes they shed the lining of the laying tackle and it looks a bit like an alien.

yes it's exactly like that, but less ridged, quite smooth & a uniform shape. Is it likely to be the one that didn't lay that day?
