What is the other stuff people use - something like arboise. I think it is like straw. Can't see it in scats

 

I'm just clearing away all the bark chips and making it all clean and tidy. It seems that mine might be suffering from red mite or scaley leg. I would like to get plastic bars but not sure if my eglu is mark 2. Can't remember when we got it.

we use hemcore or easibed (easibed is a bit cheaper )
