How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

any ideas anyone? I want to weedkill a 'no man zone' along the bottom of the leccy fence to stop it shorting out; Pathclear is safe for animals once dried, and I used it last year while the girls were freeranging last year with no ill effects. Not sure about Roundup, which I think might be better on grass - any advice anyone?

Roundup is the safest weedkiller because it becomes inert on contact with soil.Just allow it to dry on foliage for 1/2hr or so before letting the chooks out to be on the safe side.Also,stamp on the grass first with your feet to bruise it then it the weedkiller gets absorbed quicker.

 

Roundup (which contains Glypsohate) is a non selective weedkiller which means it will kill any plant it comes into contact with so be careful around shrubs!

not enough to stop the fence ticking tho...! and of course if they go too close, they get a shock too - doesnt seem to bother them much, the odd squawk and then they settle again.
