Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Hi

Should moulting be begining to start? I have noticed more feathers and I am worried that someone is being picked on! Is anyone else starting the moult!

It depends on the age of your hens really.

I too have found an alarming amount of feathers floating around my garden!

 

My four girls are about 18mths old and am not at all worried as i have been told this is about normal for a first moult.

 

All I am doing is a bit of poultry Spice and that should be it

one of my ex batts who is about 3 years old and hasn't laid for about 6 months now has been moulting for about 2 weeks now. In all others aspects she is absolutely fine.

One of my Miss Pepperpots is moulting for the first time, she is 15 months old. I am feeding her a small amount of tuna cat food to give her extra protein, she is fine otherwise.
