How do you poo pick with a run that long and also what sort of things do you have in a run of this length to keep them amused? What sort of shade do you have going on? and lastly do you have any pics of your set up that I could see please.

I've got the eglu, run and converter set up.

 

I don't poo pick very often - once a week is fine for 3 chooks and it involves moving the whole run out the way, which is a two person job. I put fresh aubiose down and give the whole thing a rake over. They have a CD hanging, a log, a roosting bar and a large flower pot to play on.

 

As for cover, I use the standard green shade that came with the edglu, and I bought a fun shade which is at the eglu end permanently, with the original green shade moved around depending on sun or rain. I fI have the extension as well, I would probably get another fun shade.
