Couperman
Hi Laura, I use the Linux Ubuntu open source operating system which comes with everything you need at zero cost. Included is Open Office, it is virtually the same as Microsoft Office only it is available for nowt and it works on Windows too. It opens and saves all Microsoft file types so there are no problems with sharing files from Microsoft Office applications. Try Open Office before you part with £80. http://www.openoffice.org/ Kev. Guest
I understand (not done this myself of course ) That it is possible to google a code which will unlock the 60 use version and let you carry on using it. Of course this is illegal and it would be far better to go down to PC world and pay a lot of money for a legal copy.

I hear good things about Open Office too - it's no good for me though as I have to produce resources on Microsoft Office so I always have to have the "right" version of office (NOT the latest!) one working on my machines. Often means getting rid of a newer version but then again the latest version is hideous so not too much trouble!
