Getting chickens to go to bed!!!

We have just got our girls today, and have an Eglu Cube. All is going well except we can't get them to go inside their house for the night. They have tried roosting on top of the Glug/the feeder/the ladder into the house, have had a look inside then come back out!

 

Help please!!!!

Thanks Jools-they are in the run at the moment, haven't let them freerange yet!

 

ETA: Tonight they just went in, no problem at all. I went out to check them and they were all tucked up already! :D

They went to bed early!

 

Ours stay out till around 9pm or whenever they think its dark enough! And they are all raring to go by 7.30am when hubby lets them out!

 

That's what I thought! It was dark and chilly last night compared to recently though, so I think they felt an early night was in order!!! :lol:
