Krysia Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Ok so 4 of the 14 keep going broody but we are averaging 4 eggs a day, I was 8-9. Are they just slowing down or is the hot weather having an adverse affect? Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this in the heat. Sandychick Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 One of mine hasn't layed for 8 days now. I've been getting no more than 1 egg a day from my three for the last week. I'm hoping it is just the weather - they seem perfectly ok. They have only been laying for a few weeks so it might have effected them a bit more.
