Joanne Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 Daisy has laid her first egg!! She is the chicken who had a seriously bad foot only four days after arriving with us. She finished her antibiotics on Monday morning and this morning has laid a beautiful, perfect brown egg. Unfortunately, because of the antibiotics, we can`t eat it. Vet says best not to until a week after finishing the antibiotics Still, her foot and leg atre all better now (fingers crossed) and I am so proud of her....her first egg and with no fuss just popped out a perfect medium sized brown one!!
