wombatally
I posted last week about our Speckledy. She has lost a lot of feathers underneath and near her vent. At first I thought she may be moulting but I now think that something may be biting her. There is no evidence of red mite in their house and I use the powder and diatom. She does seem to have little bite marks but I'm not sure from what? She is wormed regularly but has passed a couple of softies in the last couple of days and is laying erratically. Is there something I can douse her in to stop whatever is getting to her. Incidentally the other 5 are fine...
Ain't Nobody Here
Sorry, don't really know . She's not showing signs of broodiness is she? Feather pulling from the tummy is common then, but not the vent I don't think .
Egluntyne
Could be one of her flatmates is doing it. Some anti peck spray or a few drops tea tree oil diluted in water and sprayed on might stop them.
