and she happily wandered around the garden talking to the girls for a while. We then shared a bar of chocolate and had a drink and she went home.

 

How sweet. What lovely neighbours.

 

I too find that half an hour with the chickens a cup of tea and / or a bar of chocolate cures many things. :D

 

What a fright for you all. Chickens can be such a comfort.
