Tweety
Someone on one of the threads I have been reading asked for ideas for hanging the Grub and Glug in a homemade run, and I have done so very successfully using an angle iron: screw the angle iron onto a piece of wood ( we used 2x2 ), then attach the wood to the run and hang the grub/glug. It works perfectly.

Jules.
I have absolutely no idea what an angle iron is either! My friend who made the run for me came up with perhaps the same idea? He screwed two metal rectangles onto a strip of wood, with a bit of the metal sticking up at the top which holds the glug in place. The wood is screwed across one of the run panels. for my grub I just cut two holes in the wire so it is the same gap size as the Omlet run- 2x1 inch , my weldmesh is 1x1 inch square. Tweety
Toastedblue, thanks for explaining that so well! Unfortunately I am useless at posting photos and have been wondering how best to describe an angle iron - you have summed it up very neatly!
