4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Today Abby and I were looking at the cube and getting the hang of doing the wheels and getting the trays out etc. My mum was there and I asked here to come across and have a look at the inside.

 

I pushed the top forward and started to say'Here's the nesting box' but before I could get the words out I saw an egg!!!!!! I thought I must be seeing things. I yelled 'There's an egg in here' picked it up, very clever it had even been laid with a date stamp!!! I don't suppose I was the first or the last person to have that trick played on them. I've gone off my 11 year old!

My mom did the same to me the day our girls arrived! I knew she would.

 

However, today, Raquel laid her first egg. My mom saw me go out through the kitchen into the garage and then into the garden and then saw me running down the garden holding an egg shouting "we've got an egg!". She assumed I'd just taken one out of the fridge and was playing a trick back until she saw the size of it then she believed one really was laid!
