alexgirl73 Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 One of my girls (Hermione) has taken to eating her eggs as soon as she lays them. I tried making a roll away nest box, but the blasted eggs keep getting stuck . Tried a rubber egg, but she doesn't bother with the other chooks eggs, just hers. Tried mustard, no good! lisa33 Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I have used the rubber egg trick, but I wrap the egg in one of Pepper's egg shells that I managed to salvage. She could be trying to get the shell so that she can make more shells, if that makes sense...
