In a space about 15 ft by 15ft how many bales of Hemcore would I need for coverage?

I'd say 1 and a half to 2.

15 * 15 is 225sq ft

10 * 8 is 80 sq ft

 

so unless you have it very thickly spread, it may be nearer 3......

Mine is 12 foot by 10 foot and I use 1 bale (of Aubiose), and that is more than it needs.

 

I would say 1.5 would be OK, 2 would be more than enough.

I have ordered with your advice (and maths!) in mind......

I usually have one bale on the go which I use for nestbox material and under the roosting bars etc. When this gets to about 1.3rd of a bale left, I order another one.

 

I also have one complete, unopened, bale ready for my next 6-8weekly complete clear out.

As soon as I do the clear out, I order a replacement bale. That way, if there are any supply issues, I have 6 weeks to resolve it IYSWIM.
