Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

we went to applejacks farm in warrington today and a lovely day out, then had a country pub lunch and then picked up 42 copies of 'country smallholding' magazine that were offered on freecycle. At £2.25 a copy that's £94.50 worth of mags!

 

The people were really nice too and showed us their chickens, they have Cream Crested Legbarrs and also have Lemon Saplepoot bantams and have said if we ever want any just to let them know as they breed them. If we can't get a cple more ex batts we may get a cple of of the legbarrs.

 

We had a lovely chat about chooks and growing your own etc.

I took 2 to bed with me last night.

 

I was reading an article from a 2000 issue about a lady who adopted some ex batts, when (I'm guessing) the BHWT didn't even exist. It's a good read, bit of everything in there
