also, I've already stripped the berries from the stalks so if you could possibly give me the approx weight in berries rather than "10 elderberry heads" I'd be really grateful

Anything's worth trying once I know the Grand Marnier works with it as a long cool drink. The producers of Grand Marnier had a stand at Gardeners World at the NEC and were serving it. It was lovely
