mountainboarddude
I was just wandering if anyoone could tell me the ratio of apple cider vinegar to water for the birds to drink. thanks
bokbokbok
I have a large drinker and add a quarter to half a capful to it depending on how much my hand is shaking. Now, as to the size of the drinker : I dunno As to whether this is the correct dosage : I dunno As to what is says on the side of the bottle : I dunno But they drink it I'm going on the "a little drop to a big bucket" ratio here I think If someone else doesn't keep you right - I will check when I get home. toastedblue
I put 2 cap fulls in a nearly full glug, but then this is a small bottle from Te$co and the cap is quite small as bokbokbok said, I don't know if this is the right dose either but they drink it local breeder/farmer told me it was good for coccidiosis and other stomach bugs, a sort of "cure all" without the need for drugs... how true that is is anyones guess
Nuggywoo
5ml for every litre. Roughly. A bit more wouldn't hurt - unless they got drunk

nikplus
I put an egg cup full (seemed appropriate) into a full Cube-style Glug (the one with three drinking nipples) as it holds rather a lot of water. It perked them up no end. Did it in the morning and by evening they were bouncing around all over the run.
EileenH
I found this thread useful! The bottle I have recommends 40ml for horses and 20ml for ponies!
MadMitch
My chicken ACV says 100ml for every 4.5 litres
