mountainboarddude
i have a RiR who is about 2 and a half now, she used to lay everyday up until about 3 months ago and she has not laid since. she is eating and drinking fine and seems perfectly normal and happy, but she is bald on her head, her bum (from bullying when she was younger) and on her neck, stomach and in between her legs. She has been like this for a couple of months and the feathers do not really seem to be growin back, does anyone know what it is or is she just getting old? Egluntyne
Sounds like a moult. Have you checked her over for lice and mites and wormed her recently? All these could affect her laying. A helping of extra protein will help her to grow some new feathers. A bit of rinsed tuna, organic cat food or scrambled egg every now and then might do the trick.
