Nuts eggs have always been much paler than the other two, but today her egg was a darker brown, unless one of the others nipped in there and ran out while I wasnt looking! Hen Watch Posted September 2, 2008 Share Posted September 2, 2008 I get quite a variation from my 4. From medium brown, to light brown, or even a creamy pinky pale colour. Also get smooth ones as well as rough ones. Sometimes get nice even colour all over, other times they are speckled ???? All from the same 4 hens?????
