leopardstar
I've got four pekins which are adorable. As we all know it's been raining for weeks now. Their run is completely covered but their once fluffy legs are permanently wet. Will this cause any problems for them?
beach chick
hiya, we've got 3 silkies which I think are similar to pekins? anyway, they seem to dry out in a trice the minute it stops chucking it down and the sun comes out. they look DREADFUL when wet, but the minute it clears up they start preeening and soon look fab again. hope this helps. Egg Lou
I have 4 pekin chicks, now 8 weeks with very fluffy legs I just give them lots of perches above ground and have auboise on the run floor.. they seem to manage ery well and when legs do get wet they pop on perches to dry off! Edited to add - I should add the perches are very wide as they are still very young.
