I have got three warrens and i want to get some more chickens. So we have decided to get a cube next year. I was just wondering if you can have bantams in a cube as they are fairly small and i dont know if they can get up to the actual cube itself.

I had six bantams in an eglu but they have all moved into the cube with the big girls out of choice. They are fine with the ladder.

yep - no problem at all with the ladder. My pekins can jump up to the top rung in one go!

My pekin bantam can manage the ladder no problem and loves to wait till the others are all out in morning so she can line self up to have a clear flight from the top of the ladder - she seems to aim to go as far as possible and once - in run plus 2 extensions - seemed to absolutely grin after making it all the way from top of ladder in glorious flight and crashing into end of run - hooray for Tallulah!
