Hi, one of my girls laid her first egg a couple of days ago and i was wondering when she would lay another. Is it normaly every few days? everyday? every now and again?

And also the other two girls don`t really seem to beclose to start laying as they are shownin no signs! is this normal?

Any advice would be great!

Silkies are not really good layers, so who knows when you will get another off her! What breeds are the others?

maybe she's just getting in to it? my silkie, Muffin laid her first a week ago - and one every day since!! not a sign of anything from Crumpet tho. fingers crossed for you.

Good news, She laid her second egg last night! so thats not bad! Just got to keep my finger crossed for the other two to start laying! hopefully soon!
