Hi

I know its not an exact science anyway but all the recent posts seem to say 1g per chicken over 7 days.

 

My calculation http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=31956 came to half this (0.45 g over 7 days) - no-one queried it at the time.

 

My pack seemed to give chickens half the dose of pheasants.

My pack states 120g Flubenvet per 100kg of feed for chickens.

 

I've taken my shoes and socks off to work this out, but I reckon that is 1.2g per kg......as mentioned **here**.

Also....it is that ratio of Flubenvet to feed that is fed over 7 days not necesarrily just per chicken over 7 days.

Hi. I queried this back in January.

So for my 4 hens I give 4g (that is 1g per hen over 7 days). And 4g is measured easily as one level teaspoon. So for 2 hens, it would only be 2g, ie. half a level teaspoon adminstered over 7 days.

The 2 methods of calcualting dose seem to conflict by a factor 2 (which is significant)
