helenmb
I've just looked at their website and its £20 for 2kg (£13.50 cheaper than normal) but you get 3 free tubs with anything ordered this month. If you want VERY happy hens then treat them 'coz they go wild for them Their Bokashi layers mash is great too. My girls love this. http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk/shop/product.html?product_id=1&-session=shopper:502E4C91187d42781EiLFF032D04

helenmb
Too true, I also buy from here:- http://www.livefoodsdirect.co.uk/products.asp?dept=1034 Delivery is free. 500g comes to about £9. Here's a tip about keeping them, if you buy one of the meal worm storage boxes they keep for ages (you can also buy meal worm food which is a good idea but bran works too). The box is open at the top which I thought was odd as I thought they'd escape but they don't! Here is a link to the box that I use http://www.livefoodsdirect.co.uk/prodinfo.asp?number=MWB Here is a quote from the above website Up to 500g of Mealworms can be stored in our own storage box, which has a mesh bottom to provide ventilation and a reversible lid to capture waste (which makes great organic fertilizer). Over 500g of Mealworms can be stored in an open plastic container such as cat litter tray. A lid is unnecessary provided that the sides of the container are clean and it is stores where it won't be knocked over, preferably on a cool, concrete floor. For every 3.5cm in depth of Mealworms add 1.5cm of Progrub or bran. Never exceed a total depth of 5cm of food and Mealworms together or the Mealworms may suffocate. Mealworms fed on Progrub are likely to be more nutritious and will be gut loaded with calcium. Sorry, also forgot to mention the wild birds love them too - particularly during the breeding season. I give them a few when ever the girls have them so that everyone is happy!
