Single hen

I went to my local chicken supplier and normally this is a real treat because I get to look around at all the wonderful hens but...

 

It was rubbish! A few dirty hens and hardly anything in the shop not even grit!

 

I was so annoyed. I thought they were a good place

 

O well I'll have to find some place else!

Did you say anything to them so that they could improve things?

 

Did the hens at least have fresh water and food?

 

Could they have sold out of other stuff and be waiting for supplies?

Ye they had fresh water and some food but it never has been very busy

 

I went to look at some of the chickens they had...some Pekins.

 

I love Pekins and I really want some but do you think I should get them from there even though its a bit scabby or should I look elsewhere???
