Mrs Pepperpot managed a 97g egg this morning. Not qite big enough for the leader board but considering she nearly died in the summer I think it's a great achievement for her. She lays nearly every day now but didn't yesterday so must have been making a special!. The kids are made up and have given her extra treats.

Don't give up just yet! Opal laid a 99g egg and then a few weeks later managed 104g!

My Dixie Chick, who laid a series of absolute corkers a while back....in fact I stopped mentioning them.....it was embarrassing.....hasn't laid an egg for a month or so.

Where can I get scales that weigh these weights. (low grams). My kitchen scale may not be suitable

 

Still awaiting for my eggs, so thinks me buy scales to encourage the girls

my old ones had a dial and wouldn't weigh so accurately. These are brill for all the extra baking I've been doing since getting the girls as well. My 8 year old can manage them really well and he can now bake by himself (if I can bear to manage the mess afterwards!)

 

Hope you get eggs soon - I still get excited every time a find one and ours have bee laying for about 4 months now.
