TheCoop
Just wondered if there were and if anyone managed to get hold of any tickets for the '09 tour?? I couldn't, so if anyone knows of any going spare (long shot), I'm interested in buying.

Clur
Couldn't get tickets either. We saw them years ago and they were great live!
Snowy
Sold out very quickly didn't they?
moochoo
We've got tickets for standing at the NEC!!! They're so NOT for sale, AC/DC rock! I bought mine as soon as they went on sale but they didn't last long and they were limited to 2 per transaction. They're for sale on ebay, if you want to remortgage your house. TheCoop
Yeah, it's a joke isn't it?! I tried on Friday to get them, but had no chance. I haven't seen them since '91 and soooooo want to see them again! The only available tickets I have seen are for £165 per ticket! I guess the majority of real fans miss out again to the 'VIP' and 'exclusive' people.
moochoo
I always buy my concert tickets online now through the venue. I never use the phone lines, you're kept waiting for an hour only to be told they've sold out. Online bookings are instant and usually successful. Guest
I believe Graham - who used to post as GRD - was a bit of an AC/DC fan... I always saw them as a bit plastic - I was more of a Motorhead/Sabbath/Deep Purple fan - but that's a whole nuther age!! I played my daughter Sabbath's "Paranoid" a few weeks ago - actually off the old scratchy '45 and she told me to "turn that noise down" I also tried to get her to pick out the glorious bass entry in Purple's Smoke on the Water, loud in the car - but she was singularly unimpressed! I don't know - young people of today..... On a similar but different theme - is anyone else horrified to see Johnny Rotten dressed as a country squire on TV ads and Bill-Boards advertising Country Life Butter???? Carys asked me who it was - and i said - legendary anti-establishment bad-boy Johnny Rotten from the Pistols if i am not very much mistaken.....
