Clur
After thinking we'd got rid of our rat problem, last night we saw another one in the garden. So did our new terrier who spent hours in the garden last night trying to track it down(nearly got it but it got away). We've found a small hole in the fence, so do think they're using our garden as a run through, and they've definitely been near the chicken run presumably to find food. We've also seen holes in the compost which means they've been there too (we only compost peelings, chicken poop, the norm). My MIL says that now they've seen sight of the dog, they'll clear off somewhere else but is it as simple as that? We're taking the usual precautions - removing food from the run at night etc and reviewing the traps, but would be really nice if having a terrier works in getting rid of them! Snowy
It might be enough, especially if he catches the odd one! Trouble is they will still be around, just not in your garden!
