Raise money for their charity appeals by collecting milk bottle tops etc? There was a program celebrating 50 years of it the other day that DH and i watched. Was very As its been running ages even the oldies amongst you should have some childhood memories of it?! Mine are of the mid/late 80/ early90's era - I watched when it was Anthea Turner, Mark Curry, John Leslie, Karen Keating etc presenting.... Happy days! John Noakes climbing Nelson's column up ladders lashed together and he wasn't clipped up!!!! Heavens, the things they made those poor presenters do!!! No "Elf 'n' safety in those days.
