jools+6
the new house is built , siliconed in every nook and cranny , varnished to within an inch of it's life and i'm varnished and siliconed too ! thanks kitchen for all your advice , it really helped . we siliconed as we built this time so there are no hidey holes for red mite i hope . the roof is siliconed on so that no water can penatrate ( like last time ) there is more silicone in the coop than katie price if you know what i mean . ive looked like a fat lara croft waving my gun about at every single gap thank the lord the neighbours were out . today i have varnished it (and me ) and now we are both a lovely shade of teak . poultry sheild and diatom powder are on their way from flyte so fancy and as soon as it arrives the girls can move in . the old coop is being de bugged aired fixed up and sold on as a rabbit run ( it converts if you take off the nest box and replace it with the panel supplied with it ) me and the joiner are going 50/50 on that one . seems such a waste when we can recycle it and give it a good home and we will make sure it is clear before it goes . this lovely freezing weather here at the moment will help a great deal . i hope :pray:as long as red mite knows its no longer welcome i'll be a happy bunny thanks for everyones help on the red mite subject and thank you all for listening xxx
Ain't Nobody Here
Well done, Jools . Sounds like a very thorough job . At least you won't be getting red mite or leaks either . Fingers crossed the dreaded beasties have been beaten .
