Daft question, but for those of you whose chickens have perches do they all sleep facing the same way?

 

I realised when I went to lock the girls in that all of mine, bar Edna who sleeps in the nestbox, always settle down on the perch facing the same way. It looks so funny to see 8 chickens all facing the wall

mine seem to go head to tail as if to fit in the neatest possible way - except that one occasionally hangs its bottom into the nest and poohs in there. Funny little things!

One of mine always seems to be facing the other way to the other 3. It varies who it is. I think it must be whoever was naughty that day and they have to face the wall.
