Mollystar Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 But not as bad as my evil chooks I have 3 cockerals in with my ladies, I know one day they might have to go but last week was awful I noticed one of my cocks getting pecked quite often & by friday the others had started to peck the feathers off his bum, I asked OH to take him out when they are settled on Friday night (I cant reach) but he only finished work late, to late to help me assemble a temporary pen. He promised first thing Saturday, shock horror, covered in blood I burst into tears & asked him to do the deed, I feel so guilty. I'm feeling so bad because I know it was selfish of me to take the easy way out, even though it would of been his fate sooner or later.
