I see chicken related merchandise everywhere!

And now, one of my dad's work friends wants to keep chickens!

 

He's asked if I could share a few tips and maybe write him a guide...

I was singing in a concert on Saturday and told everyone I had to rush back after the rehearsal to check on my new girls we got the day before. I had loads of people ask me about keeping them as they wanted to get some so looks like its official, Chickens are cooler than toy dogs

People are really interested in them, they tend to back off a bit sometimes when I get to describing the various types of poos though

A few weeks ago I was watching Katie & peter the next chapter (aka Jordan) and they took delivery of a chicken coop. No more evidence of chickens or chicken keeping though since. And Peter knew nothing about it, it took him by surprise when it arrived so they obviously never discussed it together (doh?). So I reckon she just ordered it because its suddenly very popular.

I was looking for some info on another subject and found this article on the Smallholder website about chicken keeping
