wombatally
I'm not sure if this is coincidence or not but I put some of the corrugated sheeting on the sides of my run (it's not an eglu) to shelter them as we're in a very exposed place. At that point we were getting 5-6 eggs a day from the hybrid girls. This dropped to 2 a day for a couple of days and then stopped. I'm going to worm them but they were done a few months ago so should be okay. None seem to be moulting - at least if they are it is much less severe than I expected. But all to stop together?! What's going on?
Seagazer
Not sure if I'm much help but two of mine appear to have stopped laying. They were wormed recently and look healthy. Perhaps its the cold weather. We've had lots of fireworks round here as well so that might not help. It might just be a combination of things. I'm not too worried, although I will be if I have to buy eggs!!

chelsea
we went away on holiday for 2 weeks and came home on the 17th of October. We havent seen an egg since. Been wormed, lice checked etc. I have x2 moulters and the other 2 cant be bothered. I think it must be? - change of clocks, dark nights, cold weather, moulting, etc
Hen Watch
I invested in some corrugated plastic 2 weeks ago as well. But my lot went on egg strike a few months ago, so I've not noticed any difference.
wombatally
2 are definately moulting - and what a shock it is! I never expected so many feathers... OH thinkks that it is a good time to put them in the pot as they'll take less plucking As for the others, well I have put china eggs in the nest to remind them of what they are supposed to do in their spare time
