mictogirl
I've seen a few people on here who have just got their chocks saying they keep them in the run for a week to acclimatise I guess and I'm wondering if I should do the same? We get ours in 3 weeks, 5 ex-batts and an old bantam, but they are second hand as it were - they've been living with each other in their house (which we're also getting) for a while, but with other people in another garden. Should I keep them in the run anyway as they will be in a new garden? TIA! Laura.
Christian
Hello Laura, It is only advisable to keep them in the run for a few days, to make sure they know where 'home' is. After a few days settling in, I'm sure they will be fine.
