piptiddlepip
Went to crack one of my eggs this morning and ti didn't look right. On tipping it into a glass I noticed there was a small amount of what looked like blood in there - red blood. I've never seen this before, ever. All the hens appear to be in good health and are eating normally. Is this something I should freak out about? Could it be to do with fireworks? piptiddlepip
Ahhh! Thank you so much. That makes sense, what with the time of year, and all. I thought they were completely unaffected by the fireworks but perhaps one of them was scared by a loud bang. Also we have had roadworks behind the house and at times the drilling has been horribly loud - could be that. They have all packed up and gone now, thank goodness. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction
