HENthusiastic
Ive seen buttercup watching worms TWICE but not eating them! Whats going on with her? The first time, she was standing there watching it while it wriggled around, until it disapeared into the soil and she trotted off! The other time I was in the garden and I heard her do an excited chirping kind of noice... I looked and she was bent over staring at a wriggling worm, but again making no attempt at all to peck at it. Needless to say, her chirping alerted another one of the girls who raced over and gobbled it up. I wondered if she had bad eyesight but ive tested her and she can see a tiny tiny spec of corn on my hand. Could I have a vegetarian chicken? No it cant even be that because she eats tuna occasionally. Any ideas anybody. Seems very wierd to me.

bluekarin
I had a worm in a box I was clearing in the garden, so I put it on the floor in front of Daisy and she walked away! There was also a slug in their run, and they all walked on it and not one of them even tried to eat it!
HENthusiastic
My husband says I'm chicken... Do you like the following: corn? worms? scratching the earth? Are you attracted to large upright tails?
