Panel of experts have to identify people with mental illness or not, 10 to choose from. Really awful TV, the only purpose for the viewer is to choose "nutter" or "normal". ..lay a little egg for me Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 It's a re-run of an experiment done years ago where several normal people got themselves admitted to a mental hospital and then had the devil of a time getting out again as the doctors in charge could not see that they were not mentally ill. I think it may be of great interest to the psychiatric professors taking part but I agree that it is a bit dodgy as a TV programme. Yet another in the series of programmes that are purportedly aiming to educate the public about disabled (mentally or physically) people, but in fact, strays into becoming a TV version of the circus freak show.
