Angels4
Many of you may already know of these two sites and I did post it in my thread "Supercuts" but just in case you don't I wanted to post them here. I feel customer service is lacking in most industries here in the US and most likely in the UK as well. With the present state of the economy everywhere I choose to only spend my hard earned cash at shops and services which deserve it and as a consumer like to know I will be treated fairly. Therefore if you recieve good service or bad service here are two places you can let others (like myself) know about it. www.grumbletext.com www.reviewcentre.com Also before you spend your hard earned cash you can check most places out here as well. Cinnamon
Brilliant Mark, thanks. I too am very keen on good customer service. having worked in retail for many years & having managed a store, I know how important it is. These days I complain about EVERYTHING, & it really does pay to do so. At the moment I have an ongoing issue with Vodafone who tried to charge me £1950 for my monthly broadband package.Just 2 weeks ago I got a full refund on my weeks holiday car hire from Holiday Autos when the first car they supplied was broken & the second one had worn tyres. Go for it,complain & get your point across, thats what I say
Egluntyne
£1950! Good grief! Did someone foget to insert a decimal point somewhere?
Cinnamon
Well, its supposed to be £20 a month, plus extra if we go over the limit. But they charged us £12 a minute. Then, when I phoned them, they told me to cancel the direct debit, which I did,so that the money wouldn't go out. But they then stopped my account (BB plus 3 phones) because the direct debit had been cancelled Honestly, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing with that lot I would SERIOUSLY cancel the account, but we cannot get broadband any other way And I don't hate them quite enough to go back onto dial up
Ardene5
£1950 what a rip off. I would move everything to 02 broadband and mobile phones. I have just been having problems with PC World Tech Guys and British Gas but I use trading standard and a treat of contacting the local and national press to get them to get the job done correctly. You will surprised how quickly they move when they hear I have already spoken to trading standards and have a reference number for the problem. All our problems at the moment are sorted until the next time. Can't - we live in the sticks & Vodafone is the only thing that works here. The mast is 200m away I too have used trading standards with a problem at PC World, who seem to emply a bunch of muppets at their repair centrs & on their customer service team I got my refund on a pair of faulty laptops in the end
