craftyhunnypie
It's typical isn't it! Poppet who I hatched myself - lavender araucana seemed to be crouching last night when we stroked her back. They are 19 weeks on Thursday. Ooo we thought, green eggs soon. But oh no! We got up this morning to hear the delightful sound of a different sounding crow! We knew it wasn't Boon or Spongebob, so went to investigate - there was Poppet crowing proudly. So long as he behaves with us & gets on ok with our other cockerel Boon the big partridge cochin, then he can stay. He's been getting on so far! Sorry I just had to laugh! So I still don't have my green egg layer. But I'm planning on a barnavelder & an araucana after Xmas, possibly from Wernlas. Although I do know a man who has lots of coloured egg layers & is downsizing. Hmmm What's that song? Whatever will be will be.
